Joining the Keto Diet Craze after being diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease

I am 34 years old and have 4 Kids. I was diagnosed in 2018 with Hashimoto's. I had my 4th child in 2017 and I was feeling really down and depressed and just not myself even a year after having my little girl. I thought it was normal just postpartum blues but after a year I decided to go and get it checked out. My Mom had Graves Disease, my Maternal Grandma had HypoThyroid, and my Paternal Grandpa had HypoThyroid. I wasn't able to lose any weight, in fact I just kept gaining. The biggest problem was that I was ALWAYS Tired. I would take 2 two hour naps a day. After being diagnosed and put on Levo my energy is way up. I am only on 25 mcg, so not a lot. I finally feel normal now that its been two years. Gradually my numbers keep getting better and better and I haven't changed my dosage. I feel really blessed in the way. I however struggle with my weight. I went without sugar for a month in December and only lost 3 pounds. It is 2020 and I am ready for a change. I decided I would go on the Keto diet. I know there is a lot of controversy but I am going to at least give it a try, since nothing else it working for me. If you would like to follow me on my journey, I would love to have you! Here's to hoping that 2020 will be a good year.  We have chickens in our backyard and we are usually up to our ears in eggs so that should be helpful!

I found a couple of foods I want to try this week.

Get Organized in the New Year with The Best Planners for 2020

2020 is here! I can't even believe it. I remember when 2000 came around. I was in 8th grade. When you are that age you think 10 years is a long time and here it has been 20 years since then. I'm married and have 4 kids now! Being a Mom with 4 kids is hard work and a planner/calendar saves me. Here are some cute fun practical planners that I thought were pretty cool. Now I just need to decide which one fits my needs the best.

My sister in-law has the Happy Planner and loves it. It is like a scrapbook and planner in one. It saves her so much time because it's a planner, journal, and scrapbook all in one. It is so much fun she adds pictures and stickers and looks super cute! Also the pens are a must have they are amazing.

Do you have a favorite Planner? Let me know in the comments below, I would love to hear what works for you.

Heres to a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Cute Valentine's Day Outfits For The Whole Family/Valentine's Day Decor Ideas

I Love Valentine's Day because it is such a simple holiday around our house. Our tradition is to order Pizza for dinner and have some chocolates and call it a day. The tradition started when we were students at the U of A (Louis) and I was taking classes through a NAU program in Tucson. The super bowl is right next to Valentine's Day so Papa Johns would give away a free pizza if you guessed the coin flip, heads or tails. We always had a free pizza on Valentine's Day which was a treat for us when we had no money, we were poor college students. So the Tradition began. We don't live near a Papa Johns anymore there always seems to be good deals on pizza during the holiday! The kids get Valentine's at school so they get plenty. I don't have to cook, so it's a win for me. Here are some cute Valentine's Day Outfits I found. (Affliate Links Below)
